Daylight Savings Patch Needed for Windows Computers

In the US as well as many other countries, new legislation has redefined the date on which clocks should be changed for daylight savings. For Windows computers, the time (under the old date system) would have automatically have changed on the correct date. Under the new system, you could of course just set the time yourself but you will have to do this 4 times a year.

The best solution is to install a free patch which you can download an run from http://www.intelliadmin.com/Downloads.htm

There are two versions available:

For windows 98 http://www.intelliadmin.com/DaylightSavingFix98.exe

And for Win2000/XP

http://www.intelliadmin.com/DaylightSavingFix.exe

The patch is Free and easy to run. We have used this on about 60 computers at work without problem and I also have used it on our computers at home.

After applying the patch you will have to set the correct time (if you have not already done so today). The time control panel will then show the timezone as daylight savings time.
