Description:
This class is a two year curriculum. It uses the Prentice Hall Science Explorer series: From Bacteria to Plants, Animals, Environmental Science, Health and the Human Body, Inside Earth, Sound and Light – Class works through textbook and workbook. Classroom format encourages note taking/outlining skills, hands on activities such as animal dissection, rock/mineral display, and visual demonstrations and in-class presentations.
