At first glance you may be a little intimidated with the types of available content types you can post on the City Gates Academy drupal site.

Please note: the type of content you can create may vary depending on you CGA role and site policy

Here are the 4 types you need to know:

Events - for calendar based items. Note these can also be posted to the front page with no downside. If it is date related, special day etc, use an event.

Story - is a good content type for a simple article it works in organic groups as well as on the front page postings. This would be the type of choice if the information is not date related.

Blog- this is almost like a story with three subtle differences. 1) these always get stamped with the user ID who posted. 2) time stamp 3)  these appear in reverse chronological sequence.  Blog is an excellent choice for class assignments

Forum topics - forums provide topical structure to discussions and an archive of things others will most likely want to know in the future.

So post away, fearlessly... everyone has information the CGA Community can use.
