A new organic group has been added for those students taking the website challenge. The students who have already indicated an interest and/or have completed the first challenge task "Get Connected" have been added to the group. Other students and parents are free to join from the page at

I have decided to add extra credit points to the challenge. A few students who earn the most extra credit will increase their chance of winning by getting a second entry in the drawing. Extra credit tasks will only be posted in the Challenge group.

Students who are involved in the challenge are expected to check their email regularly. This builds an important community discipline and will give them an advantage in learning early about challenge activities.

The second challenge task has been posted and later today the scope of the remaining tasks will be added to the calendar.
